I am the path of the Tiger BABY!!!

Sorry gang, I really apologize. I'm having computer issues still. It seems my satellite only wants to cooperate for the tech... who is 2 hours away... and thinks I'm an idiot. Please bear with me. I hate posting from my stupid smatrphone.

In reply to The Usher (msg # 375):

"You do know how to double-click, right?"
"Yes--"
"You click once, and then you click again, really fast!"

Actual conversation between my sister and an America Online tech, circa 1997 ~ 1998.

However, when I write Agelia's posts, half the time I channel myself during my time as a customer service representative for a bank.  Because I was one.

And after I resigned, it's fair to say that I would almost rather have been Andrew Dice-Clay's publicist.   :|

Re: Even moooore OOC

Yes, I've asked that same question before too...

Me: Ok, click on the Start button...
Mom: Where's that? Is it by the space bar?
Me: No, on the bottom left corner of your screen...
Mom: Left click or right click?
Me: Left.
Mom: Oh. Uhh... Click right on it?
Me: No, yes, put your cursor over it and click the left button once.
Mom: Okay, now there's a bunch of stuff...
Me: Ok find one that says Programs, and click on that.
Mom: Left click?
Me: Right. I mean yes...

Speaking of techie stuff, my computers are all fried or otherwise gremlinized. I've got parts on order, and as soon as the UPS pony-express makes it out across the mountains and prairie where I live, I'll get something fixed. In the meantime, I'm posting from my stupid smatrphone and a crippled laptop. Thanks for bearing with me.

In reply to The Usher (msg # 377):

Hah, my mother always asked us questions and got straight answers, and when she did a little bit of time at the call center, she was probably the most proficient /with the mobile devices of the entire training group she was in.  She also got so incensed at this one virus she got years before, that she played a game of "Return to Sender"!

@Usher:
I was just about to reply on the other thread that "Yes, I'm ready to proceed" when I saw your new post. I haven't read it yet, but the images are tantalizing. As to Sepulos possibly not being "accepted," I love it--character conflict and now a sense of real motivation to undo a possible mistake, and even guilt. I'll post soon.

Re: Even moooore OOC

Errrm... Who says it ain't? ;-)

Read carefully... Alton's thread and that of the rest of you hold different clues to things, and while I tend to make some mistakes, I'm fairly deliberate in most of my GM posts. Just sayin'. Especially if one were to go back and re-read the game, hopefully one might find that there is some foreshadowing present and hints given. At least that's my hope. If you weren't all players, I'd ask for feedback on that, but you are players and your primary function is to break and blow holes into everything I try to plan... ;-) Not to worry though, I've learned that lesson long ago!

Re: Even moooore OOC

It doesn't have the head or neck of a liopleurodon!  Which is good.  Probably some namby-pamby modern sea creature.

If you aren't the size of an Efreeti Prince's palace, I'm not afraid of you.

Re: Even moooore OOC

Just a reminder that we're all busy right now and the game is entering a slow phase for a little while. Please post when you can, but don't, please don't lose your excitement for the game. I have lots of stuff planned, including a big wide woold out there. If you need more action than you are getting  PM me and we'll  see about how to fix that. Seems like spring and summer are setting in, and folks are just busy.

I'm in the middle of an unexpected "twelve days with no day off" thing, so I can relate!  But no, this game has my interest, partly because of all the amazing things we're play-testing!

I'm still maintaining interest. This is a fun game so far. I don't mind the slower pace since my life is a bit hectic as well.

These are the sea creatures you imagine in deep water aren't they?  No wonder.  Sheesh, I'll have to think twice about the swimming pool the next time I get in.  Wife wants me to do a triathlon with her involving swimming across the Snake.  Hmmm....

@Alton - No, you're good. We'll join the threads at this point. Congrats! If you want to make a last entry in your Prologue, please do so, otherwise we'll introduce you into Chapter 2, and finish it off very soon! Long time in the process, but I'm very pleased with everyone's efforts!

Re: Even moooore OOC

Sorry for my absence this week. I've had problems with my internet and have also been swamped with visiting in-laws. All other work (and play) has pretty much been put on hold since last week. I'll get back in the game ASAP, hopefully by Sunday. In the meantime, Usher can use Sepulos as his marionette. Hopefully I won't get eaten by anything ;-) I see we're moving ahead at a nice pace, so I don't want to get too far behind. Thanks for your patience!

Still in the water, up to about the chest at the edge of an underwater ledge where it gets deep.  I was thinking of limestone eroding from ocean surge.

Please feel free to puppet master Maksim to move the story along. Its been a couple busy weeks trying to get some work done and enjoy my wife's company before the kids are out for the summer.

I'll try and get a shot IC shortly.
