Any advice/opinion on the importance of Movement & Maneuver?  I got:
No armor: 30
Rigid leather: 0
If I add leg greaves, the drops to -5.

Is it worth the negative Movement & Maneuver to have some protection against leg criticals?
Or alternatively, it the +30 MM valuable enough to not wear armor and be at greater risk of criticals?

My current plan is probably to wear rigid leather most of the time if travelling or in potentially dangerous situation but maybe take it off if I am on a sneak mission.

The only bonus I have is Strength so I cannot give good advice. I can fight and there's that for 1st Level.
With group as is I don't expect you to be in the thick of melee battle, so if I were you I'd start out with Soft Leather as that gets your Agility bonus, so at even a single rank you surely have a positive MM.

Done but Base Spell bonus line needs amending and then the (newly added) encumberance/equipment aection needs tidying up.

Seeing the plate armor on Elly I'm very envious for not having seen a way to accomplish that :D.
MM must be -10 or better to be allowed to get one... ahh, unless one has money enough to purchase a plate anyway :D

Can one buy ranks in Base Spell OB ?
If yes and one has zero ranks thenb is there a -25 mondifier for Base Spell OB ?

You cannot buy ranks in Base Spell and there is no -25.  There are no modifiers to that except if the class gives a per level bonus (Mage gives +2 per level, for example), and if you have a special ability that gives bonuses that include it (Lightning Reactions gives a +5 to DB and OB); and then for the time spent casting the spell.

Three is not too few, I can adjust some things, and you guys are pretty decent at fighting for first level characters.

Almost everything from Bree South to the Gap of Rohan is very sparsely populated, and between Bree and the Greyflood basically abandoned and returning to wilderness.  In many ways Middle-Earth at the end of the Third Age is a post-apocalypse world.

My understanding was that Elly/Bosco are actually on the other side of the ford than Einar.
Also that the river/ford is at least 100 yards wide
