So far so good!

I'm trying to figure where my character is from, geographically speaking.

Given the thread name, we're plainly near Trader's Rest, on the map.

Alyna is from a small, mostly human settlement, not far from the mountains.  Which I think would mean she comes from up north, somewhere.   Traveling southward, when she met the party.

So unless that makes crap sense, that's the story.

there is a 'gate' of sorts between   the realms of Iron Ironmound ( Laynak is the continent )

There  are 'Mists' that  people enter  from ship or flying  and  end up here... This gives the characters, plausible  reasons, for not know  everything  one should think they would know.

Kree and Ivy were born  here..( since   this game started on Yahoo..Krwyn as well Others    have the   'homes; that they settled into

she could have even settled into a 'patch town' that dot the  shores  and  forests,  that are  small settlements

You  check the  Map..we  are headedc to Yad... we are somewhere, on the mountain side,   of the bend in the road, past  Trader;s Rest

In other news...

you told me Ironmound doesn't do much jousting.

...what city does? Where is jousting most popular in the world?

Elandra Jalvian:
When she was done helping set up camp she first knelt towards the setting sun and said payers to Amot.

That's kind of interesting.    I play a lot of priestess/cleric characters (though Alyna isn't one) and they often do prayers at sunset or dusk, as their chosen time.

Sunrise/dawn seems a more common choice, among players, though maybe only because Sun gods are usual in D&D.

She wasnt doing her daily prayers just saying normal prayers for their camp site, she does her daily prayers at dawn, and before she goes to sleep. She will say normal prayers throughout the day but the big one at night redoes her spells.

That's the one I'm talking about, the one to replenish spells.

In some systems (pathfinder, I think-?  I'm losing track of them all, now) you have to choose the time your cleric does that, and stay consistent with it.

Yes she does her evening prayers for her spells, and when she wakes up she prays to actually get them that has been her routine so far.

I have over 4.5 octaves of range, so deep bass up to 2nd soprano.  But, Lysander was just saying that he wants to hear a dwarven song, not that it had to be in a normal dwarf range.

Lysander:

Hmm...well, maybe if you hum a few bars...

Note:  Alyna was described as 'singing softly to herself.'   The general volume is probably lower than most of the conversation taking place.
