Up to you but I want each person to know eachother beforehand. Being in Alexandria is a good issue. Most would know eachother. Maybe raised as friends.

Also Jack of all Trades is only good for skills that you aren't proficent in. So nothing you picked bu everything else works.

All are skills. You get Jack of all trades in all skills minus those.

Got it. Went in and starred my proficient skills to make them stand out. They are the only ones with my proficiency bonus added.

As for knowing other party members, anyone who frequented a tavern would likely know Turoka making the rounds as she tried to drum up(pun intended) more favor with the locals to get her former status in court back.

Turoka’s instrument of choice is a hand drum called a bodhrán.

Taverns are simply wonderful are they not? Places where everyone seems to magically know your name hehe, but for her part Camella would be best known as a scout and trap smith for hire, or possibly known as a part time carpenter, and hopefully far less known as a cat burglar.

@Party... In my RTJ a few weeks ago, I typed up a background prologue of sorts.

My little blue kobold works with the clergy of Ilmater at the crypt of Saint Bethesda. Sometimes he helps sell almonds and cranberries from their garden, sometimes he joins them on errands within Alexandria.

Dumb question-clerics. Do they knows ALL the spells and can cast whichever ones or just limited?


You can prepare a number of spells equal to your Wisdom Modifer + your Cleric level. They have to be spells of the level you can cast.

Then you get into spell slots. You’re able to cast the allowed amount of spell slots per level.

Does that make sense?

Each domain has a list of spells - its domain spells - that you gain at the cleric levels noted in the domain description. Once you gain a domain spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.

These are extra spells in addition to the ones from your Cleric list, plus your Wisdom modifier adds more.

If you become a Life Cleric, you always know Bless and Cure Wounds. Like Skree said, they don’t count against the # of spells you prepare each day.

If you have a Wisdom of 16, you could prepare 4 spells each day as a 1st Level Cleric. You can cast 2 of those Spells per day (or long rest).

You can change the list of prepared spells after a long rest. You spend 1 minute of time per spell level praying or meditating.

So say you got +4 from Wisdom. So you can cast up to 6 spells not including cantrips.

And you gain new spells per level so:
Level 2: 1 spell
Level 3: 1 spell

ect correct? Just want to be sure I get it done correct lol

And if I cast a spell at level 2:
Spell Slots-
Level 0-3/3
Level 1-3/3

I can cast anything I know? Cool. So if I want O can cast say 6 cure light wounds? I know cantrips can be used whenever you want which is why Warlocks can get pretty nasty (eldritch blast lol)

You can’t cast a 2nd level spell until 3rd Level. Life Domain adds Bless & Cure Wounds, not counted against the spells you know.

+4 WIS modifier + Level = 6 Spells prepared if you’re 2nd Level. 3 Slots for Spellcasting, so you’ll cast 3 spells per long rest.

Be aware of your Channel Divinity feature, too.
