It is with much regret I must move on.  I will be around and posting long enough to manage transitions on my open games/groups here, and, after that, will bid RPoL farewell for an extended period.

I won't bore all of you with the details.  I'm at a point in life where I must take care of certain vital objectives, and must withdraw from this most enjoyable of pastimes until I finally have some time to pass again.

Here's wishing everyone here well.  I do hope to return one day, because this is a really fun way to game.  Until then, be well, be safe, and be wonderful to each other.

Back in my earliest fledgling days of playing online, when MUSHes and MUSEs were supplanting MUDs, one of my online friends told me her two rules of online gaming...and I've never forgotten them (although I would be wise to remember them more clearly, more often...)

RULE #1: Real Life comes first.

RULE #2: Get more of Rule #1.

Do what you've gotta do.  Enjoyable as this is, it IS still a hobby, and you can't make a life out of it at the expense of the demands of the Real World.  Hope it all works out smoothly for you!

I too have seen your name as an active player here and wish you the best of life even with its ups and downs.  Stay safe and your family stay safe and hopefully you will return to us in your own time.  Take care of yourself.
