In short: The content of those shows exists in this world, but the power levels of those shows are too low. I feel the largest difference of those shows is their tone. It could go either way, it depends on you. How do you imagine Inoue hunting demons for how you understand them?
If you want to know what I think, here ya go:

Personally, my inspirations are derived from comics and manga since that's what I grew up on. When I think of Inoue I see her like a Lucy from fairy tail summoning various spirits with various abilities. Probably uses a staff and smacks anyone that gets close. If by chance she knows martial arts then she probably knows kung fu and uses a variation of Bo Staff techniques (which would not be a far assumption to make at all as monks learn this as a way of life). She most likely gets involved as a demon hunter per the practice of her people and is a warrior shrine maiden.
Since she is an investigator I don't see her actually patrolling the city, but rather using her powers as a medium to understand what those who have passed have seen and responding to those events. As such she is probably a very key player in the group even finding the evidence of demons. Alongside any video footage and witness testimonies.
However, since she needs to, "[know] she is getting into combat in advance she [to] be a real menace," then I also imagine that unlike Lucy she is not summoning these spirits on command. Which means that there is either a ritual or place they are tied to. I imagine this is her shrine which also means that this is not innately her magic, but rather a relic left behind from The Protectors (the gods of this world). Which also means she doesn't know the magic language and is not innately herself a spellcaster. The one spell she does know, her ability to talk to the dead, is what (in the context of my world) we call the Designation of the Soul and is a natural ability she has always had and is the reason she became a shrine maiden in the first place. This same ability is how she calls upon the spirits she needs in combination with some sort of magical artifact that binds them to her command. And since one of her weaknesses is prep time its literally just the distance it takes the spirit to travel from the Shrine to her location which is why it is beneficial for her to already be traveling with them. It's interesting and befits her because her effectiveness increases with her proximity to the shrine.
If you wanted to take it a step further then they probably use her unused source of mana to power their abilities and this is why she hasn't bothered learning the magical language because if she wasted the mana on her own spells then she wouldn't have enough to use her spirits. She doesn't need to worry about defense because the people of this world can innately use their magic to defend from attacks. So, she has focused on honing her body instead to survive. Without her spirits she is simply a Bo Staff user which doesn't leave her with zero options and with them she is a powerful sorcerer. It's fun, I think.
