Duo or Trio Game?

I've seen some posts looking for solo games. That's not quite my cup of tea, but I would be interested in playing in a game with only two or three dedicated players and a great GM. There's a different dynamic with a smaller group that I have enjoyed once or twice.

I'm not super picky on system. I think I would prefer a more roleplay-focused game.  And I would definitely prefer a good post rate from everyone.

I would be interested in being a player in the sort of game described by Drackler if the system is Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition.

I would love to jump in on this if its 5e. I have a few ideas I would love to play. I have been thinking of posting an ad like this for awhile as well.

Any GMs interested? If you want to run 5e you have three players right here.

What kind of game/campaign are you looking for ?? I have both of the starting adventures. We can do something else as well.

Duo or Trio Game?

I'm pretty open, honestly. I'd like to have a game where we can explore the interplay between player characters in depth. One idea that I thought would be fun to play a game where the player characters are not on an even footing. Knight/squire or Wizard/apprentice. Something like that.

I'm up for any system/game that sounds interesting. I love fantasy and sci-fi especially, and if I don't know the system I can learn it.

Duo or Trio Game?

We did get a DM for a 5e game that we're talking with. It's higher level - and looks like it would be a lot of fun - but I would be open to another, lower level game.

Well I'm afraid that our game seems to have died. Bumping this to look for a new GM?

More specifically the GM appears to have gone AWOL, the three of us players are still here so  you're likely to get a game up and running quickly if you're interested in GMing for us.

Re: Duo or Trio Game?

We only managed to play for a few weeks. So, without speaking for the other two, I think we could change games. I can generally make three posts a week, yes.

Re: Duo or Trio Game?

Drackler mentioned a 5e gestalt game. Is that right? What was the setting like?

Re: Duo or Trio Game?

Yes it was Gestalt, here were the rules we were using: https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/HJbEWuLjW

We didn't get further than the tap room in the pub we started in! Our characters had previously adventured together and had reunited at the funeral/wake of our old ranger buddy who seemingly passed away peacefully but with the hook that this was perhaps suspicious.

It was very much a generic fantasy setting with a couple tropey of kingdoms like the old elvish and dwarven kingdom, the new empire of man that conquered most of the land centuries ago and the wildlands in the middle with the orcish warlord lording over all the nasty monstrous races.

I think you could more or less drop our characters into any generic fantasy setting and we'd be alright. The three of us were more or less flexible in adapting our backstories to suit.
If you want to invite us all to a new game or send us a group rMail that might make it easier to converse so that we don't miss messages here in this forum.
