I would love to join a 5e game. I prefer to join new games, instead of ones that have already started. I have plenty ideas for characters that just need a game to play in.

I've yet to actually join a 5E game that lasts more than a few weeks before it implodes, but I'm hoping to find one that does work.

I'm in several games right now that have been going on for years, so that's certainly not every game out there. I've been in plenty that did implode pretty quickly, though.

What kind of games are you looking for, Gentlepeople? I have one or two players in one of my games that's ending soon that would be interested in starting another as well, I think.

Or more specifically, which premade published adventures are you interested in running through?

I don't have the free time right now to do a fully customized campaign, but I can do a premade without much trouble.

I'm fine with whatever really. Premade adventures are good with me.

I haven't really played any of them. My former play groups did their own thing. But I don't mind trying premade stuff.

I don't hate any of these aspects. So if somebody else wants something with one I ranked low, I wouldn't mind.

I don't know much of anything of the "established" worlds of DND, so if we do an adventure path, I'll probably need a little bit of 'hand holding' as to what's up.

RP and plot progression is probably the biggest aspect for me, at least in an online setting, where combat can just

drag

things

down.....

I'm not a horror person by nature, plus, I don't know how well this environment of a play by play forum helps convey fear, but that's just me, not having ever tried it.

Having a group of players that "gel" together, that allows for actually collaborative storytelling is the biggest thing.


I did have a super rough idea of a game that I'd like like to see happen, and would have been willing to run if I wasn't
A) working and going to school
B) running a Star Wars campaign already
C) a complete amateur at 5E

The idea being where every player character is playing against type. Half-orc Bards, Elven barbarians, halfling paladins, etc.
I think that could create some inherently interesting characters and moments, and probably help the game be a little more on the light-hearted side, rather than SUPER SERIOUS and "dark and edgy"

swapping combat with exploration and I think that'd be pretty close to my preference.
