Solo Cyberpunk 2020 or Shadowrun 5e

I've got the itch for neon, trenchcoats, and bad music, folks. More specifically, for Cyberpunk 2020 or Shadowrun 5th Edition. And I want to go solo. No, not that kind, the kind where there's one player. I prefer the lower stress that comes from having a game where I don't have to worry about keeping up with a bunch of other players.

On the pink mohawk to black trenchcoat scale, I'd say I'm around around a 7-8. I find the slice-of-life aspects of both systems interesting, particularly so with the granularity of Shadowrun's Lifestyle system, as I want to be able to spend my hard-earned Eurodollars/Nuyen on something other than more runner gear.

If any of this catches your attention, shoot me an rMail and we can talk specifics.

In reply to NowhereMan (msg # 3):

What year/area would you want to play in? What kind of character? More of a lone wolf or with NPCs to join in?

That depends. Do you mean Shadowrun or Cyberpunk?

First off, eras. For Shadowrun, the 2070s default of 5e is perfectly fine. For Cyberpunk, either the 2020s or the 2070s, as the 2040s as of Cyberpunk Red don't do much for me.

As for character types, in Cyberpunk I vastly prefer Corps and Fixers, particularly Fixers. Which sorta answers the second part of that, too, for what is a good Corp or Fixer without their disposable minions faithful employees? I suppose the same can be said of a Shadowrun character, though the classless system that Shadowrun brings to the table allows a bit more flexibility in character archetype. Still solidly in the "Face" camp, though.

I see that you posted a solo game trade, would you be willing to trade a game for the Shadowrun 5e game that you want?
