I always thought the world and lore was great. But the Kingdom management was too clunky. Looking for a creative DM who would be willing to run in that setting for 5th edition D&D. I got the old box set but I am not sure one could find the material readily online. It would not be fair for only one player ruling the kingdom and the others are just working for them. Maybe the group would be working for the kingdom? There are lots of possibilities. I am just putting it out there but not expecting much.

I would be up for it... as long as it was not D&D in any way, shape or form. As always, it does a disservice to cool settings.

I even tried 5e Birthright, it didn't end well.

It's my favorite setting.  I have most of the originals in pdf, which I scanned to save space :(, but at least I have them.

Would jump at a chance to be a player.

I would be willing to play the game using any system. I just want to roleplay in that setting. If a DM is willing, hit me up and let me know what rules you want to use, and I will make a character. :)

I have seen a copy of the basic rules for 3.5. Sorry, have not looked for 4th or 5th due to lack of interest. Plus having pdf's for most or all of the original 2nd. (not to mention a good deal of the hard copies)

I have been thinking about running a BR 5e game... it strongly depends on what sort of campaign people are interested in playing. Let me create a game so we can discuss that and hopefully settle on a structure that appeals to all interested parties:
