Age of Steam, Magic, and Dreams
The year is 1905; the place an alternate-Earth where exploration, intrigue, and mysticism provide opportunities to cast large shadows on a world where magic is real and tensions on the world stage are starting to warm to a high simmer.
Magic is quite real, having made changes both dramatic and subtle from our own timeline. In these early years of the twentieth-century, wealthy travel by airship, steam-powered velocipedes dart along city streets. Elixirs may heal the sick and wounded, as long as there is sufficient wealth for the apothecaries. Artificial clockwork limbs restore the crippled.
The British Empire is even larger and more powerful in this 1905, enjoying a near monopoly on many of the inventions born from the Hotaether-fueled second industrial revolution. Other great powers, and even those not quite amongst the great powers, are not content to play second fiddle. Intrigue abounds, danger and opportunity are around every corner.
Using the rules of Brass & Steel, this will be a heavily-narrative driven steampunk in the Edwardian era. Seeking 5-6 players.
