I? ican't play 'real freefrom"  I have ro have some kind of rules  and framework...there needs to be  'stats' to build  you PC, and dice rolls  need to be  there, to  keep random stuff   in the game

 One of my Fav games used  3d6 for attacks  and  stuff...your success was basted on  the mods for your  stats , weapons ect..but..1 was always an Auto miss, 18 was always an auto hit.

the  explanation was.., Guys  slip and  fall, to  a 'lucky hit'..somewhere in there  was  'drop weapon' too , i think.

anyway.. my system is designed to make you play and build your characters, niot  just thier  numbers

Glad to see the chatter.  I have been a touch off then on here but I found the loose wire so on more often.

YEs, leveling has been slow but I try to keep action going and challenges.  I do gove out experience at specific times of the year and when I remember to update from the camapign too.

I think most of the group have been gaming for a bit, ok a lot of bit but good to see just a bit folks to.

Now to get the newbees set up.  Give me the weekend as I have to round up some of my wondering monsters.  The rest of you I'll get posting too.

 Yeah? I got  folks in my games  from all over.. Aussie land, england denmark. , all across the US. Ireland, used to have some in  mexico  and Hawaii..  they  come and go, , and the ones  who have staye d laugh at some of  my 'holidays' like today, they already had!

ooc - its good to see players from across the globe and err universe gaming together - ok universe wishfull there but....

oocc - I only follow my holidays but yea now n then i throw another in as noted.  i have to look see if i celebrated Gary Gygax birthday??    oh heck  everey one get 51 exp :)

I just leveled to 5th Ranger. But , i don't keep tabs on my XPs  as i should. the last  4 months i have. I am here for the RP, xps  are just a  sidecar.

 this  is a D&D  game...my games are semi-freeform... both have  one thing in common...the more active the  game, the faster  folks level.. I quit a game on EZ board, because  a  guy who was DMing was tryign to help his buddy level to get a certain spell?... I don't want that?  let me earn it, and give me RP!

Agreed. My PC may be searching for clues to find certain things, but he might never find them.

Back ground for newer players - I took over this camapign from a DM who had R/L issues in order to keep it going and have been DMing since.   Yes, we were very active for a bit then it slowed then got active again then slowed (almost like driving in rush hour traffic).  I was to blame for some of the slowness but always kept feeding posts to keep everyone on board and now, I am hpong to hit the freeway and move the camapigns along.

there are currently 2 active campaign/groups and by the looks of newbees coming on board per Istarma invite, a third camapaign/group is being formed.  Everyone starts at first level unless you jump into a higher level group then I adjust best I can.  Each group is on there own path within the world but can and has affected other groups by what they do.    Each group has the same backfround but are on different paths interconnected but I don't think you all will ever bumpp into each other (crap, just jinxed that).  One group is fighting slavers, one exploring a disturbance in the force of new evil activity (maybe connected) and the new group will be dealing with ...... evil DM chuckle they will have to figure it out.

So, yes, one could say a restart, but I say just dusted off the dust on the dice for some and opened the door to let light/newbee in for others.  Now, to get those monsters paid for and see what evil I can bribe to get out and mess with you all.  Its gaming time again for all.
