I'm considering running a game in the style of classic action moves like Hard Boiled, Rambo, and Die Hard. The setting would be modern, if a little over the top and the characters would be a gaggle of misfit cops, reformed assassins, and hardworking everymen gathered together by the singular goal of taking down a criminal cartel.

The game would be run using Feng Shui 2, a quick and easy system that is designed for over the top action and hyper-competent characters. I'm happy to teach new players, though it really isn't a complex game.

Is this something I would be able to find players for, or is it a bit too out there?

I'd be interested if there were an online version of the rules.  I don't have room in my bookcase for more hard-copy of rules, nor the eyesight to be able to read books anymore.  Have you considered do it in Fate, which seems like a pretty similar system?

It's right up my alley, but I don't have Feng Shui in any incarnation unfortunately.

I've had the FS2 rules for a while now but not had the chance to play so would love to give the system a go and get that action movie fix!

I'm a little against FATE for PbP because the negotiation tends to slow things down. I'm happy to consider other systems if there are more players into them (and I like them, obviously!)!

I'd certainly be down. I've loved Feng Shui since I read the rule in 1st edition where a character with a pump-action shotgun could get +2 to hit if they made the "ch-chuck" noise.
