Gauging interest in Degenesis

I love this game, but I'm not sure if anybody else does. Politics! Intrigue! Psychic monsters! Mammoths!

I've been thinking of running the Degenesis In Thy Blood--Black Atlantic campaign. Is anybody interested? I need a fast posting rate (like at least once a day).

Taking the advice of the Internet, I will probably be limiting Cults And Cultures to begin with to avoid new players getting overloaded with all the novelty of the universe.

Gauging interest in Degenesis

I would absolutely LOVE to play, but I did read through all of In Thy Blood and The Killing Game, so..

Yeah, I suspected that might happen. The game has an avid fanbase that reads everything...

Well they didn't make a meme of "Read The F*ing Manual" for a reason.

Still wanna play though, if you'd be willing to allow it, if you can trust a random stranger on the net not to Metagame.

Maybe. You could be in some kind of nonleadership position, like an assistant Judge to a more senior Judge, or something.

Gauging interest in Degenesis

Grabbed the two core books, I'll give 'em a read.  Always intrigued by a new system and the 'post-apoc religious' setting looks (at first blush) appealingly well done...

If I get too hooked over the next few days, anything I should avoid reading besides In Thy Blood and Black Atlantic?  (presuming you do start up a game)

Yes. The Killing Game, which is the middle book of the campaign.

The setting is very complex, so as mentioned I'll probably be rstricting the cults and cultures a bit in character creation, so as not to overwhelm people.

That's fine.  I'll just avoid those three books if I do start to binge everythign else.

OK. I'll probably start a game even if I have only 2 players.

Note: I understand that there is a new supplement (like everything else, I think, free on the sixmorevodka website), but I haven't looked at it yet and don't know what's in it.

Do you mean Artifacts? It's basically an expanded Players Guide with a lot new more options and extra rules.

I think that's what it's called. I'll have a look at it, but I can't guarantee that I will be conversant with it before the game starts.

Yes. The Killing Game, which is the middle book of the campaign.

I'll also skip Rising Ravens, it's a 'short adventure' that takes place between The Killing Game and Black Atlantic (luckily it says that right at the start of it).
