I’m reading through my book and wondering if there are enough other people here with access to the full rules to give a playtest a shot. The rules are new, kinda dense, and in places abstract, so everyone having access to the book or PDF would be necessary.

The idea is everyone would make a minor House and a mid- to high-ranking character in their House. PCs would not be the head of their House so they could go into the field and get their hands dirty. All the Houses would be fighting for control of the same planet and we’d play to see who wins. Obviously this is a thin setup that’s mostly an excuse to test all the systems and subsystems, different conflict types, along with agent and architect play.

This would be a playtest, not a full campaign. If enough people like the system we can talk about continuing on after the playtest.

Interested, but my copy hasn't arrived yet (it's been shipped though!). I'll need some time to process the rules, though I was involved in the initial Beta test with Modiphius so have some understanding. Do you have a timeframe as to when you were thinking of starting?

Sounds fun, but I have a habit of signing up for more than I have time for.

 I think I have this game. And it's Dune and well I love Dune. So playtest sure.

If possible, I'd like to playtest using just the quick start guide (for the players that don't have the full ruleset, while the game master of course should have the full ruleset).
