Clarification of Adult content rules (NSFW Descriptions)

What is the rule with regards to content included in character descriptions?

I know that all content in visible threads (like Group O) is supposed to be PG/General audience-friendly, but does that extend to images and the like included in character descriptions as well? (I feel like it does, since they're visible to anyone, but I can't seem to find anything specific stating such.)

If we were to run across visible NSFW content in a game that doesn't belong to us, is there some kind of protocol for reporting that?

No, it’s not allowed. It should be reported to the game’s GM and the site moderators.

From the Adult Rules FAQ:

quote:
  What other requirements are there?
In an Adult game, any part of the game which contains Adult content must be out of view of the casual user.  This means that all threads with Adult content must be in groups other than 0 or public (since anyone can view threads in those groups).  Likewise, games are never permitted to have Adult content in the Game Intro or Character Description areas since all visitors to the game can see these items.

From the Adult Games Policy FAQ:

quote:
All participants of an Adult Game are responsible for ensuring its content does not violate our policies.  Violations should be reported to the game's GM and to the site Moderators.  Ignoring violations is not an option.

I need to put more text here because I’m not supposed to quote so much text in a post. Thanks, mods, for all your hard work. Happy new year, everyone! Remember to tip your waiters and delivery drivers!

Thanks Mick. I had flipped through the FAQ, but obviously not closely enough!

Edit: Okay, I'm feeling particularly stupid here, but... is there some kind of option to rMail the mods in general that I can't find, or do I just play roulette with the list of mods and pick one at random? (Obviously, I am not at my best tonight when it comes to flipping through the FAQs and finding answers, but I swear I've looked for them.)

Go to rmail. In the rmail screen, go to “Compose a new rmail” and tick the box that says “CC to moderators.”
