multiple successes needed

I'm used to having my players roller for multiple successes, such as you need two 8's to succeed. How do we do that on the dice roller? Do they just put the difficulty 8 and count if they got more than one.  Or can we set the difficulty for the two 8's?

In the "System / Special Dice" area of the Dice Roller, one of the options in the drop down menu will be "Target Number".

You then enter the target number in you need to succeed (such as an 8).

When you roll the dice, the roller will then return how many successes (in this case, 8's) were rolled.  You will then have to manually compare that amount to the quantity actually needed for success or failure.

So if you were using 6d6 and a success was a 3 above, you might see "Today: nauthiz rolled 6 successes using 6d6 with the Target Number system with a target of 3" if the dice rolled were 3,6,4,3,6,5.

If you want to include the actual dice results in that dice log line, make sure the "Record each die?" option is checked.
