Having a more in depth look at the library, you find a book that, although its language sounds quite antiquate, you can still understand:
The Art of Weapons. Reading it lleads to a +2 on a Weapon Special Skill at character's choice. This benefit can be accrued only once in life and the Weapon Special Skill chosen can not go over (6).
Other souces of knowledge in the library will require more time to get the benefits, as you will need to learn the ancient language and translate them first.
