Landor uses his magic to check and see if the armor was magic or not. He collected the scrolls for himself as well as the gold. “Shall we head to the next room when we’re done here?”

Area 45:

The group goes to the next room and finds six skeletons and they are easily destroyed. A scimitar lies upon the floor of this small bunkroom, where a dead thief is visible and he looks to have been dissected. A pouch is visible as well, holding 670 silver.

OOC
So masterwork scimitar and 670 silver

Areas 44:
Several dead dwarves are in each room, all have been dead for some time. Some of the room have dead orcs and dwarves, all are stripped. There is nothing left.

Area 47:

Surprisingly, this room has not been looted. These were once the personal quarters of a important dwarf, decorated with tapestries and furnished comfortably, although age has taken its toll on the rooms contents. A beautful rug easily 20 free across covers the floor in the center of the room and a simple bed and writing desk stand in the southwest corner of the chamber.

OOC So who is entering? Just for my info.

Gar, following the others, note's the craftsmanship of the weapon.  He was not one for such a slender weapon....it didn't suit his style, but he thought of Lyrian, she may use it.

The half oirc stopped in the doorway of the dwarven room, hesitant, and with axe ready, stepped through.

<OOC: GAr will step in....slowly and on guard>

Landor grabs ahold of Gar’s belt, but doesn’t stop the half orc’s advance. He is poised to pull him back if there is a trap. “Might I suggest we lift up the rug to see what’s underneath? Seems the perfect cover for a trap or a mimic. Maybe our elf friend can check for traps ahead of us?”

"I'll try.  The desk may have important things too.  All those dead dwarves... as if they died while locked up?  Or all at once?  Maybe some records still survive.  Right, yes, rug first," she says.  "Let me borrow that sword we found for a moment, please."  Using the tip of the scimitar and extreme caution, Lyrian examines the rug and area around it for traps.

OOC: 09:25, Today: Lyrian Swift rolled 33 using 1d20+15.  Search check.

Lyrian flips back the rug after a lengthy examination, revealing no wires or pressure plate that she can see.  "I think this is safe enough..." she says.
