Landor speaks to the people as they leave. “There is a secret passage near the exit where some dead orcs are. Take their weapons on your way out.”

Gar watches the tearful girl with real emotion on his face. We was worried for the girl...she had just let her mother, but the half orc never lost someone close to him. The closest had been many years ago, when he was young, and since then he had seen many hardships that had hardened him. The loss of the girl who he came to befriend was the closest to loss he felt, and he felt anger and hatred....the girl was feeling something different.

As he watched her leave, he spoke more to himself that anyone else, barely heard."I'm sorry, dear girl."

He bowed his head, closing his eyes as the girl and her guardians left. For minutes he sat kneeling, his eyes closed. Then the barbarian started trembling.

He opened his eyes, a cold, steely gaze of anger as he looked up and screamed.

"RRAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGG"

He brought his clenched fists down on the cave floor with a heavy slam.

Breathing heavy, he stood up, bending to grab his axe and looked at the others.

".....lets go."

The samurai has his sword drawn and aimed at the barbarian. His eyes narrow, watching the brute rip at the cave floor. He whistles and hoots, eyes upon Gar. But he doesn't strike. The weapon is then sheathed and he walks up to him, tilting his head. He goes to place a hand upon Gar's chest as if to calm him. He then looks to the north and the east after removing his hand. Odd kenku. Perhaps he wants to 'tame' him?

Whistling again as if to try and calm him, his eyes dart back to Thorin and he nods. He waits for the others to decide and sits down indian style upon the floor with closed eyes.

The barbarian breathes in and out deeply, a half smile on his face. "You have no need to fear me....I will not strike you my friend, any of you." He looks back to the empty space where the group left, chastising himself for the outburst....she would have heard the yell.

He grimaced more at himself and his lack of judgement than the suituation. He looked at tai. He nodded in thanks and spoke. "Either north or east. Unless we find evidence that they took one, one way is as good as another." He looked at thorin, hoping the dwarf could find some evidence of a direction.

Haphazard stacks of crates, barrels, sacks and bundles litter this long, narrow cavern. The orcs appeared to have some success in their raids of the smaller setterlements and mountain roads in the area. To the north, two finished stone passageways lead east and west, to the south an old well is full of murky water. There is a small passageway leading to the northeast but it looks blocked off.

Landor uses a light spell on a pebble and drops it into the well and looks to see how far down it goes and if there was anything that might have fallen into it by accident. After the pebble goes out of sight, he turns to the tracker of the group. “Which way now Thorin?”

"While he looks for factual information for us to follow, perhaps we should look in some of these crates and things for anything useful," commented Perrin as he walked over to one to see if he could get an idea of what might be inside. In particular, he was looking for weapons that might be usable by someone of his size.

The barbarian, silent after his outburst earlier, looked on at the others. "It will not matter to the north and the main group, or south east....once they know we are here, they will come in strength. I think the south east could be storage or a bunk house. My opinion is go north, we rout the main force. when we are done and come back, we search the south east. If they run, they show what cowards they are."

He started looking through the crates as he spoke, looking for something useful, gathering some foodstuff for the trek.

He then looked to the north east, and began moving the crates to see what is back to the north east

"I think we can all admit there is validity to both courses of action, but since we don't know where any of these tunnels leave we should probably go after the larger group just in case they are heading toward an exit. We wouldn't want the main force to escape while we are taking out one or two orcs," commented Perrin as he performed an in depth search of the crate for useful things that weren't basic supplies.

Aggrivated, the samurai whistles and stands up. He looks at each of them and slams his foot down. The kenku points either to the north or south and waits. Upon seeing that no one has made a choice, he lowers his head and shakes it before going to help the half-orc.

The half-orc after some time finds some pallets blocking a iron locked gate.

The sorceror finds nothing besides odds and ends. Food items, blankets, ect. Stuff you may find in any home.

Landor shakes his head and shrugs. “North it is then. Might I ask if you actually know what’s behind that door? While there could be treasure, there is an equal chance that something dangerous is behind it. Why not exterminate the orcs before opening another passage to our backs? We have three such pathways to be flanked from already. I think we should open it, but let’s eliminate the other variables first before adding onto them.”
