Not all dwarves are the same, just like not all humans are the same. Same as elves.

We do understand that. Its just that Fenris seems to be more like a stereotypical dwarf than a typical elf. That's all. No harm, no foul.

Hey, some humans have been sheltered (cloistered) for much of their lives, only interacting with other beings in a limited context. Even if they are blessed with divine power as a result of their devotion, humility, and selflessness. :)

I plucked that shield out of the ocean myself, don't you know, walking along the bottom to salvage it!  ;)  Ballast is not unwilling to share, mind you, particularly if we get into somewhere dangerous, but he did find that one on his own.

The point of the shield is for Ballest to indeed get it as all he had was a wooden shield. The cleric has a large steel shield so it makes sense for Ballest to get it.

Bracers of Armor +1 is for the dwarf

Ioun Stone of Alerness anyone can use.

Course it can be shared.

Fair enough. So as it has been written, so let it be done. Cumarinda is not as concerned about acquiring magic items as her player is. :)

By the way, if anyone else thinks their character is better qualified to be the prime mover/motivator/leader of this party, by all means feel free to have them take charge. The only reason that Cumarinda is speaking out and giving directions is because she is doing what she feels is right and not getting much verbal dissension.

Ballast is pleased to let Cumarinda talk as he hasn't been listened to, historically, for much of his existence. Many people have a prejudice against warforged, and he'd rather not just bull his way through life purely on strength and intimidation. You're a priest, you're local and well-known, and people seem to like you - Cumarinda seems a much better choice of party spokesbeing than the rest of us!
