Yup. Sleeping/sometimes being unconsious means you have a higher chance of healing.

Are people expecting combats to happen within the first few posts after they join or what?

I think this goes back to the old "roleplay" versus "rollplay" debates.....

No clue. I want to build up to it and with 2 people, I want to have the group talk for a bit.

It bugs me when people join, gett he sheet basically done and then vanish. It happens, I get it. But having the character sit for like 1+ months? Yeah.

It has been a odd week. Having a girlfriend or exgirlfriend (whatever she is) confused about stuff, then me falling for her doesn't help. She's a odd duck but I dunno. Always go for the different ones :(

I play in a free form game where you makes stories, and started four that have all died in the last month.  Not sure why.  Maybe a lag in online playing?  Or something else?

Honestly, not sure if I'm interested in an X-Men game.  I've seen two have real issues keeping it interesting.  I suspect people, or maybe it's people like me, expect an online post game to feel like a real game, especially the kind of games at gaming conventions I go to now.  Those are games that start fast, have fast interactions (or at least plans for several fast interactions) and feel that waiting two weeks or a month for something to happen is too slow.  I am not saying you are slow, I have seen this in a lot of games here.  I just think a lot of players, especially young ones, are so used to games being like movies that start from moment one that they don't have time for what we used to do here, which is coast, find out what everyone is like, role play a bit, then move on.  Even life games have that problem anymore.  People have been spoiled by video games.

Play by post can go a lot too slow for video gamers to get into.
I like the pace and enjoy the interactions....

Wait. How can a 'X-men game' he the same as X-men play by post? Vastly different worlds and if someone expect the same thing, I laugh at them.

As for games people get busy. Some people don't care.

And I used to play video games. I like them. Just dunno.....
