Just curious on why the group seems intent on going to the castle when there's the forest someting looming about ect. Plus the castle is hidden so no one knows where it is exactly :)

Forest is fine, too. I think I lost track of the various stuff going on.

Basically doing the movie Van Helsing with a twist.

My understanding is that there are two problems:

• Shadowy humanoid flying creatures come into town at night, stealing away one woman at a time. They come from a castle that is hidden in the woods, but no-one knows exactly where the castle is
• A beast has been heard of coming out of the woodlands. Everyone that face it was killed. Torn apart, bits and pieces thrown around like some crazed beast

Also, the keep's daughter has been taken.

I may remove the game unfortunatly due to current events. Plus the group is down to 3 people.

Ralgar was right but the castle is in the mountains, not the woods :)

Waiting on the rogue

It seems like everyone is against riki but I feel Ed like I played the Amazon barbarian well. She got insulted a few times  used her sword as a intimidation tool. A halfling barbarian. Perhaps I could have handed it dirrently but I feel it went further then I expected. Hence the wizard left, and riki left.

Sorry, I actually thought I had responded here a while ago! Just did a quick post to keep it moving.

Regarding the Riki situation, I'd just ask that you reflect on what Oswyn actually said and did after her attack. He rolled his eyes and asked her if she was done. Yes, it was somewhat dismissive, but considering what she'd done, it really was a pretty measured response. (I realize that everyone else was much nicer than Oswyn, but I don't think his actions were really that hostile, even though they led to him having a blade at his chin.)

So anyway, I would be fine with Riki rejoining the group when we head out. Oswyn probably wouldn't be a big pal with her or anything, but he would work with her. And me, the player, I don't have any ill feelings about the game.

You insulted her several times and looked down at her (no pun intended). Also everyone that talked to her-she had already left. I did look at it and understand but she's a halfling barbarian that you did but you really upset her. She's already been looks down upon and that was a big thing. Throwing the fighter to the ground was her way of staying 'I'm small but but do not mess with me'. Rolling your eyes even if just talking to anyone IMO is a bit of a rude comment even if it wasn't ment. In her eyes-you think what happened was another reason for you not wanting her around and she left. Also she feels like you took charge, and she was against it feeling the druid is a better choice. I simply want everyone to understand her view on things that occurred and I am not putting blame on anyone.  I did handle it a bit badly, and I know I did but the reaction I got I feel with her leaving was the best course of action. In her eyes she felt Oswyin dishonored her and putting a blade anyones throat was her way of saying 'Talk to me. Do not ignored me'. Most likely unless you do something to show honor and she sees it, then she will not be a part of the group. She feels alone. Honor is a big thing. She doesn't know how to show it often but she's a Amazonian warrior that prides herself in battle.

Most likely depending on the situation she will not go with the group. Big thing is no one asked her if she feels what she did was right :) Also the mayor was not on her side-he's not on anyone side just wants the village to be safe.

The wizard left because of Riki's action. Riki needs time to adjust. She's a wildcard that got tasked into defending a village. Does she trust anyone? Not fully. She's got a softspot just everyone has to figure out what it is.

I could make a new character as well but I like Riki. And I got nothing agains the current PCs :) I think the game could be very intriguing and I hope everyone sticks around.

Got to admit running around with a big sword that hits the ground is pretty funny lol!

Riki has Jotunrage which increases her size to medium. Now if someone cast Enlarge Person would it work? Big halfling lmao

It reads to me that the size increase would occur, but the stat modifiers would not since they are both size bonuses. Not really worthwhile IMO

True but being a large person she's still get reach :)

Fighter, Rogue, Druid, Sorcerer. That's a good group in my eyes!

And possibly a barbarian if Riki rejoins.

BTW Riki is bout 60+ feet off in the woods.

Hopefully the rogue will return. Been 13+ days.

I think so. We're all cautiously approaching Riki, right?

Big note:

Riki is -not- naked. She was.

She's was 60' in the woods knowing no one would go in. Not a open plain where she's visible :)

Also the group can see her, she's just keeping the distance give and take.
