The underlying assumption was that most if not all of the soldiers were probably checking out the nurses. Barton's comment was just a way of acknowledging that fact. Ergo, nothing to for anyone to be embarrassed about. Not to mention the fact that I was just accommodating the GM's request to have our characters interact with one another during the pause in the action.

Capiche?

True. This was Barton's attempt to befriend Dobs, but it doesn't look promising.

Oh well, that can make for interesting RP too.

New day, new topic.

Donald Dobs:
We'd welcome some additional hands to speed up the unloading process. Donald suggests glancing from one Barton brother to the other.

Just FYI, Harris is in a recovery tent at the field hospital, and Randolph just completed his third run hauling crates off the ship under the direction of Sgt. Homula.

hey gang, just wondering how many of the newer players have used Roll20?  I set up a site there a few years back to handle the mass combat scenarios.  I logged in yesterday after not using the site for a while and it looks like I probably need to update my PC before I can use that site again :(

I have used it pretty extensively as a player. It seems pretty capable if you spend enough money for the bells and whistles.

GM:
All player characters are part of the group going to Suzdal for a day's leave in the city.  This would be a good opportunity for you to all share with each other the kinds of places you are interested in visiting in the city so I can prepare some encounters for you with the locals.

Thanks for teeing this up. Now I just need to catch up on my reading! 😅

GM:
If you have not already, now is a good time to count out your money and list the denominations of your coins/notes on your character sheets.

I have exactly three cents to my name. All are Indian Head pennies, minted in 1859, 1861, and 1862, respectively.

12:48, Today: Randolph Barton rolled 1,4,3 using d6,d6,d6.  Pennies - mint dates (1959-64).

Ha! Naturally I am counting on those coins to be "priceless" ornamental medallions in this world! LOL. (I do have my harmonica and a few other personal items that might actually have some trade value, if needed...)
