Happy eclipse day! Hopefully everyone who was able got to see it.

Completely clouded over here, and we were supposed to be 99.5% covered  :(

We're you in Wisconsin, Gale? Cuz I was and my result was the same. :(

Southern Ontario for me.  We were right on the northern edge of the path of totality as it crossed Lakes Erie and Ontario.  Not that I could really tell with the clouds, other than the darkness.

I'm in the western burbs of Chicago. We had sunny weather. But, it was only a 90 something percent eclipse here. I saw a crescent sun through eclipse glasses. Kinda cool, but if you were in Wisconsin, Dutch, I don't think you missed much.

Monterey, California over here...I think we got something like 37% occluded, but I could only watch the sunlight on the grass dim through my office window. St00pid work.

Of course, I remember making the little viewing box when I was a kid in Lincoln, Neb., back in the late-70s. Still one of the coolest experiences I've had in my lifetime.

I did that very same thing in the late 70's, Sou-rat.  We did it in school.  Just not in Neb.  :)

I just passed through Chicago earlier today. I90 southbound was a bitch. Some truck hit a car and the car was T-boned across 2 lanes. :(

We went down to Texas to see it and got a break in the clouds.  The viewing difference between 90% and full totality is enormous.  A partial eclipse is just like viewing the world through tinted lenses.

Groups 1 and 4, do you need a netrunner?  I'm looking to get Syntax in the game as fast as possible.  Consider your options.

In a pinch, I can also be the party's thief, trader or boat pilot :)

Seems like an Anarchist and a cop who would rather be a corpo could have some interesting clashes. I have no problem with her joining up our squad. But I also think Iggy is our hacker?

@Syntax, you'd be welcome in our group as well (CSpan is part of Group 4) ... so, feel free to join up (I suspect you'll have fun in either group).

Thanks all. Sounds like group 4 might be a better fit, but I'll defer to the GM and team on what they think is best :)

I'll also note (and the GM can correct me, if I am wrong), but group membership doesn't have to be permanent.  Between missions, group membership is allowed to shift/vary.

That said, we'd love to see you on Group 4.  Netrunners are always useful!

Confirmed, group membership is not permanent.  Though it hasn't really happened this way, one point in keeping the Description accurate is so that whomever is putting the team together can pick.  We haven't really had such an opportunity, yet.
