Re: (OOC) Chat Area

Ok....

You have a campsite already made. I stated it ICly. Pretty sure. Nope Ididn't. Really? I don't want to do months of the group gathering up a bunch of stuff for a camp that will never be used and get destroyed by rampaging dinosaurs which is boring on all counts.

Could be cool lol

Alreadu. Everyone has a tent, surrounding the campfire which hasn't been lit right near a river good distance from the beach. Can't see it though. Most gear is in it other then whatever you brought with you. Yawgo has all his gear.

You can use the boards or whatnot to make it be more secure but don't have nearly enough of them. It's basically a small place to sleep. Most things can see it if close enough.

Campsite looks mostly like this but minus the tents (more old fashion). River width viaries, maybe 30 to 40' (smiliar) and there's a lot of ferns, brush, vines, ect all around the camp.

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

You'd probabky be better fishing the stream by camp then at the beach. Salt water vs fresh water (I believe). Might not matter though but being close to the camp could be a better bet.

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

Well convincing the 17 year old kid he's not in charge is going to be hard then I thought LOL :)

Let's follow the 17 year old human said the 95 year old elf. I find it amusing.

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

Argus is also the youngest of the group and shouldn't be in charge IMO.But if the others don't mind him that works. He does exactly what Yawgo (kinda stabs him in the shell Turle Power) doesn't like constantly even though he said he wouldn't like instead of listening to the others, he just does whatever he wants and orders them around without question. Like if a 50 year old and a 18 year old are stuck on the island, I doube the older man would do what his youngling wanted without question. Its not war. Even at war he wouldn't be in charge. Yawgo won't listen to him because in his eyes he's just a runt. He'll listen of course but doesn't understand how a 18 year old kid expects to lead all the time and not get questioned by it. Also he doesn't understand why everyone else who is much old doesn't question him at all. Boggles his mind. Maybe he can lead, not sure. Yawgo won't listen to him. He wants to teach him but then again some times the only way to learn is if something bad happens.

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

Don't get me wrong, I dont mind how you play Argus. Not at all!

I think its funny how everyone believes Yawgo has always lived here. No one asked. He's living here now but no one asked why, how, ect.

Hard for Yawgo to answer as he isn't there. See the post #117(IC) Shipwrecked

With Kriv being a survival type person I vote for exploring the island more.

Well then. Let's aim for that.

Question upon our deaths are we doing a rogue-like experience or are we going hardcore? Rogue like we would keep current experience level but create a new character upon death. Hardcore just start over from scratch.

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

So where you want to explore? Further into the woods? Follow the river (or both)? Back to the beach and follow it?

Re: (OOC) Chat Area

Safest idea I can think of character-wise is follow the outer edges of the beach around. Since we don't know the details of what is inside of the jungle/woods.

I like this idea. It'll still give us the lay of the land, even if not completely (the shape and general features, etc). We also stand a better chance of avoiding ambush's that way since we would be more out in the open I'm guessing/hoping. After encircling the island, if we are still alive, we'll explore inwards. What do you think?
