Character creation follows the rules in the book, with a few changes.

- Players are limited to Toa, Turaga and Matoran for species. As the game will be set in Metru Nui just after the Matoran Civil War, it does not make sense for there to be a significant presence of other species in it.

- Roll for stats. You get one re-roll when doing so.

- Please discuss with the other players what builds you are thinking of making mechanics-wise, as to avoid skill/element overlap.

- Only one Shadow or Light Toa in the party. Both of these types of Toa are exceedingly rare. While it is technically possible to have multiple on a team, the odds of that occurring are next to zero. (One of each is fine, however - it could lead to some interesting dynamics in the party)

- The gender of your character is not restricted by their element - I think that’s dumb, so I’m not using it.

- Matoran, Toa, and Turaga of Shadow can occur naturally, as well as be created by a shadow leech. While having the element of shadow naturally does not impact the being’s morality, being corrupted by a shadow leech does.

- If you are looking for more lore to base your backstory around, BioSector01 is a good place to find it.
