Can you print a thread ?

Is there a way in Rpol to print a thread ?

What are some of the ways ?

I've not tried to do it myself, but if you have GM access you can download a thread (with the D/L link in the upper righthand corner) and I imagine that you could print it from the resulting file. Alternatively, you used to be able to highlight everything and save it as a webpage (I'm not sure if this still works, I haven't tried it in YEARS) and could probably print it from that. Or you can print each page in succession as you pull them up on your browser, I suppose, although that sounds awfully tedious.

In reply to SunRuanEr (msg # 2):

The highlighting still works,
I never downloaded a file before and will give that a try.

So the download works really well and it prints much like an email chain conversion,
so pretty easy to follow.

Thank you

If I recall correctly, the Download option only goes back 1000 messages, which is why you get a prompt to start a new thread as you get close to 1000.  You can, manually, go back further (I wasn't sure about that, so I tried it with the OOC thread in one of my games, which has gone WAAAAY past the 1000-post mark, and had no problem.)

Likewise the 'All' selector that opens the entire thread only works on threads with 1000 or less messages so using your browser's Print function to save as a pdf only works efficiently on threads of 1k messages or less.
