After previewing a post, then selecting to post it, it takes me to a post to say that the game ID cannot be found. It happens when I roll the dice as well and refreshing the page just rerolls everything.

I close my window and open the game just fine. But after a couple of posts it starts doing it again.

I have tried logging out of RPol and back in but that doesn't seem to work.

Any idea what could cause this?

i only received this, when i opened  another thread , for one i closed.

I had to put something like " continue hanger Dec #3 here "

 You also have to  have  a subject line( as a GM)  and   also , as a GM you need  the character , or your  GM posting  name?

 as a Player, i never received this, depending on the GM, I copy and paste my dice rolls in PMs  or  IC, depending on the   GM.. because i am answering a GM, it never has shown this .

I have been playing on RPol for years and never had this issue whether as a player or a GM.

It was all working fine until yesterday.

When I play off my cellphone I don't get this which makes me wonder whether it's anything to do with my internet browser at all?

I am not deep into the tech?..it could be  an update to your   machine? I dunno? I haven't had it happen ( watch , now it will!)

 except  for  the things  i mentioned before.. one of the  Admins  willsee this, or  one of the tech savvy folks, might have an Idea...

 You could always shut down hot, clean out ypur browers   and such and come back, see if  , whatever was wrong, resets its self?

I've gotten that occasionally, though it's rare, and if memory serves it has mostly been when using the forward/back on the browser.  This was typically due to me fat fingering something on my phone and trying to get back to where I had been and also involved either the composing a post screen or the dice roller.


So it may very well have something to do with the way your hardware/software is handling the form pages once you've hit the "preview" button.

I..and  anyone in my games will tell you..I have  My own style of play as  far as typing goes.

 I use  desktop 90% of the time, and an Amazon Fire  as back up... I never  preview ( i know i should).. i just check over  what Spell check says is  wrong.. for  some reason it  doesn't always she   'hte'  or  'ING' when its  'ign'..i looked it up on search..they are 'recognized' as words because of the whole tect thing?

 anyway...since i never  use the preview , maybe  its something in the interface with that?  As Nauthiz  said?

That has been happening to me a lot. The data always took, but it is odd.

Thank you for the feedback. Still not sure what caused it but today it's working perfectly fine again.
