Easy Tables documentation

On the help page under RuBB Code, there is a tables section that documents how to make tables using the html tags table, th, tr, td.  I knew that we also had Easy tables, using OR bars, and I even knew that you could add an exclamation point to make a cell have a darker background, but they aren't mentioned in the help, at least that I saw.

It wasn't until recently, when I was looking at the character sheets in the forum "Heaven - Gaming Resources" that I realized that there are a LOT more options for the easy tables, including row and column spans, right float, etc.  I'd love to see a complete list of the options available.  Is there one?

This thread has everything you need:  link to a message in this forum

If for some reason my response is modded (probably for "posting link to another 'game'"), the thread title is "Easy Tables and Grids Tutorial (Peer Review Requested)" on page two of this forum.

Could it be that a combination of table cell formatting does no longer work?

centre
shaded
centre
bold
shaded

|^= centre\nshaded|! centre\nbold\nshaded|80%
||

The first column is supposed to not be bold and it should be in centre... but isn't...

Yes, yes  well known. Thanks.
But that was before the transition to the new system/platform/whatever.
Am referencing to an observation that only emerged now.

See, I have many charsheets where I wnat the cell shaded without text being bold and yet centred. The "=", which up to Dec shaded the cell seems to result in shaded+bold now and centre is off.

I just checked one of my tables that uses |=^ (haven't had to look at it since the transition) and it's broken just as your example above is. The text inside is highlighted and not centered.

Should the first row be a table header?  I wouldn't expect it to be.

i.e. it current behaves like (but shouldn't be):
centre
shaded
centre
bold
shaded
(no formatting)

|^= centre\nshaded|! centre\nbold\nshaded|(no formatting)||80%
|-

But should be:
centre
shaded
centre
bold
shaded
(no formatting)

|^= centre\nshaded|! centre\nbold\nshaded|(no formatting)|80%
|

Either way the alignment is wrong but the entire first row shouldn't be a table header without a "-" in the second row.
