Bosco is tall, at least tall for a hobbit.  He is proud of standing at almost 4 feet tall.  He has a youthful face with an easy smile. He has light brown hair, which always look a bit unruly, and hazel eyes that appear to change colour depending on what he wear or with the weather. His skin is lightly bronzed from the sun and his features are soft, but there is steel and determination in his eyes. He wears a simple brown cloak over a shirt, green vest and trousers.  He also carries a small knapsack.  At his hip, generally covered by the cloak, a short sword may be seen. Like most hobbits, he never wears shoes. He is friendly and has a youthful enthusiasm for everything if you talk to him.  However, until addressed, he is reserved and unassuming and can fade in the background.  Many people ignore him, just another unremarkable hobbit that are common sight in Bree.

Bosco grew up in the hills side near Staddle. His family having lived there for generations. He had been spending the last few years of his adolescence working with his parents and grandparents, gardening, foraging and preparing potions to help sick peoples.  This quiet routine was not enough for Bosco. That would not be his life he decided. Tending the garden, looking after plants, living in the village where you are born and never venturing more further than a few miles away to go to the Bree market.  No, not for him!  He would see the world and retrace the footsteps of his ancestors who after all had migrated from the faraway lands in the East.  A few weeks after reaching adulthood, he left and took the Great East Road
