Berthold  is a young 17 years old Rohirrim warrior, just out of his training. He was born near Edoras and. as the son of one of the local guards he was trained as a warrior from young.

His trainers soon observed he had a keen eye for detail, often seeing what others don’t, and he had an exceptionally  good night vision. The local lord soon saw on him the potential of a good scout, and assigned him to a light scouting and skirmishers unit for training.

Just having been finished his training, his father, now unfit for combat due to some wounds, gave him his chainmail (a family heirloom dating from Eorl times, or so was said in the family) and weapons, and he’s ready to be given his first mission, that was to accompany two more men to north to try to open trade routes.

Physical appearance: Berthold is just under 6’ tall, and of average complexion. He wears his blond hair long and free, and tries to develop a bread, but his young age makes this quite unsuccessful. He's proud to have inherited the family mail and uses to wear it at most times.

Attitude: He’s quite conscious he’s not yet a proven warrior, and barely an adult, and so he treats everyone with the respect he would treat a superior (even in times where this may seem inappropriate, or even insulting, as he’s quite naïve to sarcasm or irony)
