At first glance, Hugh looks like any athletic young man from Meiji space, but at a second look, his blue eyes are only the most obvious cue that his lineage is not so clear. Unless dressed for space or heavy combat, he generally is dressed for freedom of momvement, loose or no sleeves, well fitted pants.His gear is not expensive but well maintained, showing care. He moves with grace regardless of the environment.

Where possible, he stands away from any crowds and usually has his back to a wall or other solid object. He looks at ease, but is clearly staying aware of his environment. He rarely makes a sudden movement, but when he does, it is a complete action.
