Her great-grandfather, Frederick Rauchensberg, was a German immigrant who had opened the Farmer's Bank in Perm, Russia. In the 1930s, post WWI, he took the assets he had held and came to America. His eldest son, Benjamin Rauschenberg, took the family business into oil drilling where he turned his father's wealth into a multi-million dollar success.

From there, the Rauschenberg family expanded. Using the gains from the oil fields, Benjamin purchased large quantities of land, investing in farming corporations. In the 1980s, he sold an interest in one of the largest oil pockets in the US, becoming the sole billionaire of Colorado. From there, Rauschenberg moved into railroads and telecommunications, before venturing into the entertainment industry.

The Rauschenbergs now own several sports teams spanning hockey, soccer, and basketball. They also own the second-largest theater chain in the world, an assortment of various news ventures, and the largest music festival in the United States. With a net worth of eleven figures, the Rauschenbergs are one of the top 45 wealthiest Americans in the country. She is only attending Lockheath because that is what Rauschenbergs do. The only female of two generations, she might be spoilt, but that does not absolve her of the obligations to uphold the family name, though it is not expected for her to take on any of the business ventures in earnest, that power already anticipated to be split between her two eldest brothers.
