Tears of the Sun is set in the Chaos Earth setting in the RIFTS universe. The year is 2095 and after a long time of peace and technological and scientific growth, a new Cold War has gripped the world as once-friendly nations now horde their technology and fret nervously at their neighbors who have technology they do not.Strange things are afoot as new technologies have fallen into the hands of those determined to use them for nefarious reasons. A shadowy organization has begun sewing chaos and discord for unseen masters. Amidst it all, the heroes of the North America Military Alliance (NEMA) and their allies stand tall defending America and her allies.
This is a free-form RPG that is rules-light but story-driven, living in the RIFTS Universe starting in the Chaos Earth Setting.
