| User Name |
The registered RPoL user name of someone you are going to add to your game as a player (or assistant GM). When someone requests access to your game it will display their RPoL user name. If you want to give them access then find this name in the drop down box. |
| Game Access |
This is what kind of access the person will have to your game. Normally you will want to select "player". Player: A normal player in the game. Can reply to posts, send private messages etc. Moderator: Can edit posts in case of misbehaving players. Cannot see private text or private messages. GM: Can add and edit players and characters, can see all posts, private text etc. Can do anything the primary GM can do except edit other GMs. (The primary GM is the GM the game is registered under.) |
| MAIN CHARACTER DETAILS | |
| Character Name |
The name of the main character that a user has. This will be the one the game defaults to for posts and all other functions. |
| Group | You can separate players in your game to groups. Players in one group cannot see players in another, nor can they send them private messages. Visitors can see the messages in group 0 and public posts (that only the GM can make). Please leave characters in group 0 unless you are splitting them up, otherwise visitors will have nothing to read (and prospective players may think that nothing is happening!) A character in group Z cannot post a message except to the GM. See below for more information on groups. |
| Displayed Access |
This differs to "Game Access" as this has no real bearing on what the character can or cannot do in the game. It is only used when the character posts a message, and will be part of the message. Using this you can make people think that a character you control is really a normal PC. |

| All these are identical to the main character details, however they apply to each 'secondary' character. | |
